Adventures in Morocco - Marrakech tour (Camel ride, waterfalls, argan oil, Berber house)

One more day in Morocco. This morning we are getting up early, because we have plan to have an amazing day! yee! We book one day tour in Marrakech. It is includes experience camel ride, to visit a local Argan oil co-operative, to see waterfalls and traditional Berber house. At first we had a plan to have two days tour to Morocco desert, but later we decided that we don't have time for it. Because we went to Morocco just for 5 days, and we can't spend 2 days in desert. Ant it takes 8 hours drive to to  one side, and next day again 8 hours in the car to come back to Marrakech.  So we changed our plan, and we took just one day tour. Our main wish was to have a camel ride. A guy in our hotel said that camel ride cost 25 euros. But he had another option for 30 euros, which one we took. So that morning a driver came to pick up us at 9 o clock in the morning. Then he drop us to the bus, where were more people. It was about 15 people group. And we moved towards mountains :)

We left Marrakech about 9:20. And our first stop was - camel rides. First impression was not very good. Camels was looking not in very good condition. And they were smaller than I was imagine. And I was feeling bad to have ride on them. I did it first time, and the last time in my life. Also you will find video in the end of blog post :)

Then we were driving more up to mountains :) amazing view isn't? We stopped here to take some pictures :)

The next our stop is local Argan oil co-operative. Where we heard about argan oil, how it's made, how to see it is real argan oil, or not. And also we could buy it there too. (also you will video in the end of post)

And here is on our way to see waterfalls. Sun its gone, and looks like rain will come :(

We all were thinking that driver will drop us to see waterfalls, but when we stop our guide said that we have to climb 40 mins to mountains if we want to see it. And we had to climb through rocks, and slippery rocks. It was really hard. It was like a challenge. I was not ready for that. :) even I didn't wear right shoes for this trip. And the worst thing happened... rain started.
Sorry I didn't take good quality pictures with camera (just some with phone, and just in the start of climbing), because there was no time for pictures, we had to look where to step and where to climb. Just one wrong step can be dangerous.

Here is just start, later half of our group didn't climb up.

Here you can see how hard was to climb. And later I didn't take pictures, I didn't want to risk. It was really hard, my legs was shaking. It was big challenge. :) but it was worth to climb up.  I took pictures just when we reached our destination :)

And now we have to climb down :) a bit easier than to climb up. But still raining, and everything is so slippery. And it's cold, and all my jacket and shoes are wet :(  At that time I just wanted go home, to change my clothes :) but after waterfall we went to see Berber house. And here is some pictures:

After visit to Berber house it's time to go home. We reach home about 5 o clock. We changed our clothes, rested a little bit and went outside to walk around and to buy some souvenirs. Because it was our last evening in Morocco. We head to Jemaa el-Fnaa :)

You can find here and souvenirs, and food, and henna artist. We wanted to try some snails. It was my first time, and it was hard to put in my mouth first one. :) later it was easier, but still this ''food'' it is not for me :) I don't want to try it again. :D

Looks yammy isn't? :DD

After that some fresh orange juice

It was our last evening in Marrakech Morocco. Next morning we woke up, and went for short last walking.
Do you want to have a ride? :)
Make sure yours shoes are clean :)

The street full of taxi

After a little walk we back to our hotel. We pack our luggages, paid money ( we had to paid money before leaving in all Morocco. Usually people has to pay the same day when they did check in) . So we left our hotel, and went to get a taxi. It was really  hard to walk , pain in our legs, after yesterday climbing to mountains. And it was the best decision to have that trip one day before leaving. Because today we didn't have any plans, we just had to go from Marrakech to Rabat (it's about 5-6 hours by train).
Marrakech train station
In Morocco it is really safe, everywhere you will see security. We came too late to train station and we missed our train. We had to wait 2 hours for next train. But we walk a little bit, and had the last food in Marrakech :)

We reached Rabat in 5-6 hours. We had very good nap in the train. It was almost empty train, so I lie down on 4 seats (my friends too). Until Moroccan guys didn't wake us. But we made more than half way to Rabat. And by the way, before that a man came to check our tickets and he said if you are sleeping like this, be careful with your bags, because someone can steal it.
When we reached Rabat, we had not full hour to stay there. So we walk a little bit and after that we catch a taxi and moved to airport. And we had a flight home :(

Did you ever tried it? it is really delicious
